"Ellen Woods knocked it out of the park! We absolutely made the right decision in selecting Tigerlily as our wedding caterer and Cafe Brauer as our venue. From start to finish (even after our wedding day!), Ellen answered all of our questions thoroughly and in a timely manner, remaining flexible and patient, working closely with her beverage director and catering to ensure our St Patrick's Day wedding was stellar. The tastings & meetings were personal with extreme attention to detail all the way through. The speed of flipping the Great Hall from ceremony to reception was superb, even our guests commented on it! To top it off, Ellen made sure that the exterior of the building looked 110% prior to our big day; she truly did everything in her power to make things happen for us and saw it through. I knew as soon as I walked into the venue that this was where I wanted to have our wedding. The architecture alone is beautiful, and when decorated and lit for a wedding turns into a magical place. Our coordinator Molly Finn was the absolute best. She also coordinated our catering through Tigerlily Events. Everyone raves about the food and the venue, and Molly helped make the process as seamless as possible. Highly recommend especially in fall/winter when it is dark outside early on, it adds an extra glow and ambience.

We just wanted to send you a month after the wedding email to thank you so so much for everything that you did for us. We truly are still reeling from the wedding and it wouldn't have gone nearly as smoothly without your help and guidance. You put all of our minds at ease and had absolutely every detail pre planned- it was magical!! Even though you were working we hope you had as much fun as we did- it was the best party! Thank you for being so patient with our millions of questions and being so calming and organized. We felt extremely lucky to have you running the show!

Our wedding turned out to be a dream come true. Café Brauer was the perfect event space, and I don’t know if I’ll ever get over how well it all came together. I would definitely recommend this venue, and if the weather is nice, you should use the honeycomb for your ceremony. Ours was epic. Natalie and Ellen were amazing to work with, and had great relationships with all of our vendors. The food from Tigerlily was incredible as well!

Thank you, thank you for managing such a wonderful wedding.... We are very grateful for all of your hard work to make the celebration so amazing. The food was delicious. I am amazed how so many beef tenderloins were served perfectly medium rare and warm!! One vegetarian guest said if she lived in Chicago she would come every day for the Vegetable Wellington. Another chicken guest said she wanted the recipe, “you could actually taste the truffle! Most truffle things just smell like truffle.” I also heard the lamb chops were a gigantic hit, with the servers being mobbed. Please share with the Chef and all the kitchen staff how happy all the guests were with their creations.

I’m officially done with my post-wedding digital detox and just wanted to say that you are AMAZING. You were so accommodating, so patient, and everything surpassed my wildest imagination of how it would all come together. I’m back at work today and sorting through the 120(!) texts from the past week, and people are **raving** about food and service at the wedding. You might have a couple new leads coming your way ... [a guest] who has been everywhere and eaten at all the best restaurants (ridiculously high standards) was like, “who did your catering?! Our meal was incredible.” ... Thank you for literally everything. When can we do it again?!

We are so happy to have gotten married at Café Brauer! It is a beautiful, historic building on its own, but add flowers and candles – it is STUNNING! We received so many compliments from guests saying how beautiful it was, and so many vendors we worked with said this is one of their favorite venues! I can see why! We worked with Molly and she was so communicative, friendly, and knowledgeable! She assisted in making sure everything was on track beforehand, and on the wedding day! We got married in the Great Hall, and had cocktail hour on the loggia and the reception back in the Great Hall which means they had to flip the room in less than an hour and they got it done which I was amazed! The team put in a lot of hard work and we are so appreciative! We could not recommend Café Brauer enough!

First of all, Natalie Kay (Senior Sales Manager) is an absolute dream. She is organized, kind, honest, and thoughtful. She is incredibly patient and an exceptional listener. I can't say enough good things about her and her team at Café Brauer. My guests walked away raving about the timeless elegance of the space, the kind staff, and the outstanding food (Tigerlily Catering). Natalie worked with me to design the space in a creative and safe way. She was always available by email or phone. I am looking forward to planning another event at Café Brauer in the future.
